Tess May
Painter/Artist & Creative Designer
Tess May started creating art work, taking photos and had an ear for music from an early age. She took part in many creative activities at school and achieved high grades, she gained an A* in her Art and Design GSCE. From there she went on to take a diploma and foundation in Art and Design combined with photography. Tess then went on to study contemporary photographic at University gratuating with BA Honours for creative Arts. She is currently freelancing as a fine artist, illustrator and photographer while she works as a part time supply teacher. Tess, one day hopes to begin her PGCE in Art and Design.
"I believe any work I do is all relevant and great practice. I am very passionate about any ideas that I create. I have so many ideas buzzing about in my mind so most of the time I will have to take note and begin something as soon as I am with a pen and a piece of paper. Once I complete a piece it always leaves me with a sense of satisfaction.
I am currently working for Adam which is very exciting and enjoyable. As an artist I can easily adapt my style of work to suit our clients. It's great trying new techniques- techniques which I may not be as confident in but seem to pick up extremely quickly. Adam is clearly very passionate about his work and this without a doubt shows and in return we work well together as a team!"

Lucy Cowlin

Lucy is very talented in the field of design, studying graphic design at school and achieving high grades throughout her school years. She is currently studying creative advertising at the University of Lincoln working hard for her degree.
Lucy has produced numerous posters, adverts, and social networking aids for MC drums which helps to advertise us to get our name out there. She has contributed in some amazing pieces of design work for MC drums and is appreciated highly for her work. She is a very friendly person, who just gets on with her tasks in hand. She works hard to progress her skills and further her knowledge in her chosen field. As part of the team at MC drums, we wish her future to be prosperous.

Laura Whiteman
Photograph Editor & workshop Assistant
Laura studied popular music at University achieving a First class degree. She is a passionate musician, playing Bass guitar for many local bands across Essex. Laura has a good 'eye' for creative arts and has produced drawings for children's books which is currently being published.
She was first introduced to MC drums after Adam passed on a business card; her inspiration of Cajon drums grew from there. Laura enjoys working and being part of the team at MC drums and helps out within the workshop, throughout the gluing, drilling and screwing manufacturing processes. She also edits all the photographs taken to a professional standard as shown on this website. We are proud to have her as part of the team and thank her for her work with us.
